My Gas Chromatography Journey

Hi, I’m a chemist and GC engineer who loves turning confusing chromatograms into clear answers. For the past decade, I’ve helped labs and plants improve their GC data, streamline setups, and solve tough technical issues.

I started this site to share hands-on GC lessons from my work in oil & gas and petrochemical applications. I enjoy solving peak issues, improving workflows, and turning real-world experience into simple, helpful guides you can use right away.

Most of my work comes from labs under pressure to fix issues fast. I’ve built tools, templates, and method improvements to make that easier, and I’m sharing them here so others can skip the trial-and-error and get straight to the results.

Practical, real-world advice

Everything I share comes from hands-on experience — not textbook theory. If I write about something, it’s because I’ve actually used it, fixed it, or broken it at some point.

02

Tools that actually save time

I design calculators, templates, and workflows that engineers, chemists, and technicians can use right away. No fluff — just usable tools.

03

Clear explanations without the jargon

Chromatography can get complicated. My goal is to break concepts down in a way that makes sense even when you’re tired, busy, or standing in front of a running plant.

Our Vision

My vision for this site is simple: to build a practical, friendly resource for anyone working with GCs — especially those in petrochemical and process environments. A place where complex topics are explained clearly, and where tools are made to help real engineers do real work faster.

Our Mission

My mission is to share experience-driven insights, create helpful tools, and make chromatography feel less overwhelming. I want to give back to the community by sharing what I’ve learned, one helpful article or calculator at a time.
