What inputs are required ?

  • Peak area and Relative Response Factor of compound 1 to compound 6
  • Optional: Referenced Amount% of compound 1 to compound 6
  • Total normalization value in percentage
  • If the required amount% is by mole, the relative response factor must also be by mole. Likewise for mass and volume
  • Use FID Relative Response Factor Calculator for GAS to find the relative response factor when the sample is in gas phase
  • Use FID Relative Response Factor Calculator for LIQUID to find the relative response factor when the sample is in liquid phase

What the FID Peak Normalization Calculator Outputs

  • Amount% of compound 1 to compound 6
  • Relative Difference Percentage between Referenced Amount% and Calculated Amount% of compound 1 to compound 6
  • The unit of amount% will be by mole if the provided RRF is by mole. Likewise for mass and volume.
